Veterans Park Bench Dedication

The CMSF has donated a new park bench, in memory of Christian Marchena, to Hazlet’s Veterans Park. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on May 6th, 2023. Christian’s father, and CMSF Vice President, Jose Marchena, shared some words on the meaning of the park and gratitude to the community of which it belongs.

A special thanks to the Hazlet Township D.P.W. for making this installation possible!

Family Fun Day - 2022

Despite the rain, the CMSF’s 2022 Family Fun Day was a great time! This year featured a bouncy house, field-day games, cotton candy, face painting & barbecue. The CMSF thanks all who came by, participated in the raffles, and donated to the cause. This is a yearly event, so look out for more information next spring!

Meeting Sean Butler - 2020 Scholarship Recipient

Although the CMSF could not present this award publicly at their yearly Christian Marchena Day, the board was happy to meet and congratulate Sean Butler in person this summer. It was a pleasure to connect with Sean, learn more about him and introduce him to last year’s scholarship recipient. Best of luck to Sean as he continues his studies at NJIT and loads of support to the Raritan High School Class of 2020 as they start their next, unique and unprecedented, chapter.
